About Amanda

Amanda first trained in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH) at the Clifton Practice in Bristol in 2006, and was awarded the nationally recognised Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (a Level 4 FHEQ qualification) in 2007.  She went on to study Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Skills for Hypnotherapists, and more in-depth use of solution focused techniques (also at Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training).  She has recently completed an Advanced Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy with the Anglo European College of Therapeutic Hypnosis.

She is a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

Amanda now practices in Wimborne, Dorset, using hypnosis in combination with solution focused and cognitive behavioural techniques, metaphors and direct suggestion to help clients achieve their goals.

When Amanda is not working or reading about hypnotherapy and psychology she can often be found playing with her pet dog, or indulging her creativity by knitting or crocheting something cosy for someone.
